-An action taken to prevent something unpleasant or dangerous from
happening
Okay class we have different weather conditions,Rainy days,Sunny
day,Windy days and stormy days.
Safety Precautions during Different Weather Conditions:
A.Sunny Day
1.Wear loose-fitting clothes
2. Drink plenty of cool liquids, especially water, before you feel thirsty to
decrease your risk of dehydration.
3.Wear a wide-brimmed, breathable hat or use an umbrella.
4.Wear sunglasses for protection against UVA and UVB rays.
5.Use sunblock lotion.
B.Windy Day
1.Stay indoors.
2.Do not take shelter in trees.
3.Do not burn dry leaves and other objects.
4.Stay away from tall posts of electric wires.
C.Rainy Day
1.Keep with you an umbrella to protect you from the rain.
2. Purchase a nice bright colored raincoat that is full-sized and covers you
from head to toe.
3. Don’t touch electric wires.
4. Wear jacket. A nice warm jacket can prevent you from getting
cold.
D.Stormy Day
1.Prepare for wind. Secure yard items that may blow around.
2.Avoid sea travel
3.Get sandbags.
4.During storms, keep pets indoors in a sheltered area.
