THINGS TO NOTE:
BEFORE logging your flight
Make sure that the flight duration is the same as what was recorded in the A/C logbook.
Use pencil to log flights initially, until your collated list has been validated by the school.
Leave the first page of your logbook blank- this page is reserved for your initial sim training flights.
Add a page break after every change of year.
Add a page break after every caap logbook validation (this is usually done after checkrides).

WHILE logging your flight:


IR flights are to be logged under "Simulated Instrument".
Flights done on the simulator are to be logged under “Ground Trainer/Flight Simulator”.
ALL recurrency and IR flights are to be logged under “Dual/Flight Training”.
ALL conversion, add rating, and FIC training flights are to be logged under “Dual/Flight Training” - ASIDE FROM
the 02+00 hours of PIC time required.
For CPL students - checkride reviews are to be logged under “Solo/PIC” except for recurrency time.
All checkrides are to be logged under “Solo/PIC” - except for PPL checkride.
Log flights exactly as they appear in your Excel flight log. There shall be no discrepancies between the two
documents.
AVOID erasures (if using ink).
THINGS TO NOTE:
AFTER logging your flight:
Have your Flight Instructor sign your log entry.
FOR FIs: use ink to sign your student’s logbook entry; include your initials and PEL no.
Ex. (Sig) J. Adeva 123456
Double check that the entries tally up to the correct amount.
If due for checkride: surrender logbook to CAAP check pilot for validation.

*Students who are due for the ff shall acquire the appropriate endorsement from their respective FIs:
First solo
Cross country solo
Area solo out
All checkrides (from completion flight FI)
