(c) (5 x 3 + 2 x 2 + 4) + (2 x 2 + 7 x − 5) + (7 − 5 x 2 + 3 x − 4 x3 )

2. Subtract
(a) 3 x 2 − x − 1 from 5 x 2 + 3 x − 7 (b) 2 x 2 − 7 x + 5 from 5 + 8 x − 2 x 3

(c) 4 x 3 + 2 x − 9 from 11 − 3 x − 4 x 2 + 5 x 3 (d) 3 x 2 + 5 x 4 − 6 x + 7 from 8 x + 5 x 3 + x5 − 2 x 4

3. Find the following products.


(a) (2 x + 3)(7 x − 4) (b) (5 x + 7)(6 x − 1)
