GRADUATION AND MOVING -UP CEREMONY SCRIPT

THAT CEREMONY IS ABOUT TO BEGIN


JAYSON: We expect the Closing Exercises to last approximately 20 minutes so before we begin
this ceremony, let me remind you to turn your cell phones to silent mode and be courteous
around you by refraining from talking aloud during the presentation of graduates. We encourage
you to express your pride by applauding and cheering.

JORYAN: Good morning, ladies, and gentlemen. Graduation and Moving-up are always a day
of rejoicing for it marks the conclusion of an educational journey and the closing of another more
uncertain and more difficult part of man’s quest for a better life and future.

JAYSON: Truly, it signifies the culmination of many years of hard work in the relentless pursuit
of knowledge, knowledge that will enable a person to embrace opportunities and to take
challenge with clear vision and purpose. Today, another history slowly unfolds as we come to an
end of the school year 2023.

JAYSON: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to ……….

BOTH : ……….. the 3rd Commencement Exercises and Moving- Up ceremony of Manuel L.
Quezon National High School

JORYAN: with the theme…..

BOTH : “ K to 12 Graduates: Molded through a Resilient Educational Foundation”.

ENTRY OF GRADUATES AND PARENTS

JAYSON: At this time, let us welcome the candidates for graduation and moving up for
the School Year 2022-2023, together with their proud parents followed the marching of our
distinguish guest, visitors, faculty, and staff of Manuel L. Quezon National High School.

JORYAN: Starting with the Junior High School completers …….

JAYSON: This time let us all witness the marching of the Senior High School graduates ……
JORYAN: Right next to them, are the hardworking and brilliant faculty and staff of Manuel L.
Quezon National High School.

JAYSON: And now, the marching of our Guest Speaker for this joyous event accompanied by our
beloved school principal, the SPTA president, and our active barangay chairman of this barangay.
Ladies and Gentlemen, let us all give them a thundering around of applause.

JORYAN: You may now take your seat. To our vibrant and workaholic Public School District
Supervisor of San Isidro, Dr. William M. Cablinan, to our motherly school principal, madam Evelyn
P. Jose, to our strenuous and hardworking barangay officials of Quezon headed by Sir Nestor
Cordova. Our ever active SPTA president, Madam Rowena G. Dimla. To our highly competent
deeply motivated members of the faculty and staff. To the proud parents; visitors, friends, ladies and
gentlemen, a pleasant morning to all of you.

PHILIPPINE OF NATIONAL ANTHEM

JORYAN: To start our program, please stand at attention for the singing of our Philippine
National Anthem, followed by the singing of Isabela hymn and MLQNHS hymn to be led by Ms.
Eulanda A. Flotildes , Science teacher. It will be followed by prayer to be led by Mrs. Analyn C.
Macapugay, Mathematics teacher.
WELCOME REMARKS

JAYSON: Please be seated…… I believe that the secrets behind this significant event are the
student’s success who have been rendered their valuable achievement on their academic
endeavor. Ladies and gentlemen, let us all welcome and listen to the opening remarks to be given
to us by one of the academic awardees of Junior High School completers, JABEZ S. GARDOZE,
with high honors. Let us give her a resounding clap.

JORYAN: Thank you so much JABEZ GARDOZE, with high honors and completer of Grade
10, for that stirring and remarkable opening remarks.

JORYAN: At this moment, to captivate our emotions, may we call on , Mrs. Rowena G. Dimla,
our supportive SPTA president for her inspirational message. Let us give her around of applause.
INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE

JAYSON: Thank you so much ma’am Dimla for your motivational words to us. This time let us
lend our ears to the father of this barangay as he will inspire and motivates our graduates and
completers for the school year 2022-2023. Let us all welcome, Hon. Barangay Captain Nestor B.
Cordova, for his inspirational message. A big round of applause.

JORYAN: Thank you so much Hon. Brgy. Captain Cordova for your words of encouragement.
Again, thank you so much sit.

PRESENTATION OF CANDIDATES FOR COMPLETION AND GRADUATION


JORYAN: And now, the main highlights of today’s affair are about to unfold in our midst. To do
the honor of presenting this year’s candidates for completion and graduation, may we have on
the stage the school principal, Ma’am Evelyn P. Jose, School Principal II, followed right aways
by the acceptance and confirmation of the graduates and completers, by our very own
hardworking Public School District Supervisor of San Isidro, Dr. William M. Cablinan.

DISTRIBUTION OF CERTIFICATES OF COMPLETION AND DIPLOMA AND


AWARDING OF HONORS
JAYSON: Let's give another round of applause for the graduates and completers for the school
year 2023.

Dear graduates, the moment you have been eagerly waiting for has finally arrived. The
reward of your discipline and dedication is about to be reaped in their studies. Now, may we
invite Madam Evelyn P. Jose, school principal II, joining our Public Schools District supervisor
of San Isidro, Dr. William M. Cablinan, and our SPTA president, Rowena G. Dimla our very own
barangay captain , Nestor B. Cordova, and to be assisted also by the advisers on awarding the
diplomas to our graduates and completers. May we also invite our honored guests, Sir Fidelson
G. Baua, alumus batch 2026 to join us in congratulating our graduates.

JAYSON: And now, we are also gathered to pay recognition to the one’s who have done very
well and have been perseverance in their studies. May we request once more our visitors and to
be assisted by the school principal to give award to the outstanding graduates and completers.

INTRODUCTION OF THE GUEST SPEAKER

JORYAN: Today's affair is being graced by special man of the hour who will a minute deliver
his words of wisdom to our graduates and completer sand to their parents as well. To get to now
more of him, may we call on the stage our very own Mathematics teacher, in their person of
Madam Janet A. Otana to do the honors in introducing our 2023 esteem Guest of honor and
speaker.

JAYSON: Thank you so much to our distinct Guest of Honor in sparing your time to our
graduation and moving up ceremony. Indeed, your words are motivational and encouraging to
our young graduates and completers to continue their endeavor in life. Again, maraming
maraming salamat po, sir Fidelson G. Baua, alumnus batch 2016.

JORYAN : At this juncture, may we call on stage our school principal, the SPTA president, our
very own brgy. captain, the advisers of Grade 10 and 12, for the awarding of certificate of
appreciation to our guest of honor and speaker.

JORYAN: Again, a resounding clap to our Guest of Honor, Sir Fidelson G. Baua, alumnus batch
2016.

WORDS OF GRATITUDE

JAYSON: No one who achieves success does so without acknowledging the help of others. That
is why you simply express gratitude to all beings who have contributed to their current
achievements. Words of gratitude to be delivered by Mr. Ersean C. Palapuz, With High Honors,
General Academic Strand.
JORYAN: Thank you so much Mr. Ersean C. Palapuz, graduated with high honors, for sharing
your stories behind this remarkable success. Again, Kudos !!!
PLEDGE OF LOYALTY

JAYSON:At this juncture, we will now witness the graduates and completers as they state their
Pledge of Loyalty to their Alma Mater, to be led by Ms.Jelyn D. Catienza, with honors.
TRIBUTE SONG

JORYAN: Never give up on your dreams. Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always
remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for your
greatest dream. Fight for your dreams and your dreams will fight for you. Ladies and gentlemen,
let’s watch and listen to the graduates and completers “new normal” moves as they lip-sync their
graduation song, “ Dreamer” by Jungkook and do lively dance moves to it.

CLOSING REMARKS

JAYSON: The art of beginning is great, but the art of ending is even greater. It is precise to
acknowledge and recognize all the working hands that made this graduation ceremony possible.
Ladies and gentlemen, our very own school principal , Evelyn P. Jose, Principal II, in her words
of acknowledgement and closing remarks. Let give her a big big big hands !!!!

JORYAN: Thank you so much to our dear school principal for your words of thoughts.

RECESSIONAL

JAYSON: SHS graduates and JHS completers, be bold, courageous, and be your best. Your
journey is never-ending. There’s always going to be growth, improvement, and adversity; you’ve
just got to take it all in and do what’s right, continue to grow, and continue to live in the moment.
To dream high is like reaching for the stars. Wherever you go, go with all your heart. If
opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door so that success will come to you. Face the challenges
confidently and be positive in overcoming them. Kudos !!!!
