After the lesson ends, 80% of the learners are expected to; S3ES-lva-b-1
1. Visualize the 7 different landforms;
2. Differentiate landforms according to their characteristic;
3. Appreciate the significance of the different landforms.

We can’t see the place where we live here on the
map because it is just a dot on the map, your place
is very small compare to the earth.

This big world map proves that the earth was so big
and it has a lot of different water and land parts or
areas.

Again, where are the land areas on the earth? (pupils will point out the land areas)

What do you think is our lesson for today? Our lesson for today teacher is all about land areas
of the earth.

Okay! Our first destination is in Plain. Plain is a

Our sixth destination is in Hills. Hills is a naturally


raised area of land, not as high as a mountain.

You will arrange a rumbled puzzle picture and if


you’re done write on this paper the name of the
landform you see from the puzzle; each group have
different puzzle to arrange.

saw on the puzzle you made.

The earth was so big, it has a lot of landforms, the


landforms are beautiful right? Yes, Teacher.

God’s creations are truly amazing.

Now, let’s see different landforms here in Philippines.

What kind of landform is this class? That was a mountain, Teacher.

Very good. It was Mt. Apo located in Davao City.

How about this one class, what kind of landform is


this? Volcano, Teacher.

Correct!
It is Mayon Volcano located in province of Albay in
Bicol.
What kind of landform is this? Hills, Teacher.

Very good!
It is Chocolate hills located in Bohol.

How about this one, what kind of landform is this? That was an example of plateau, Teacher.

Excellent!
How about that ground? Plain ground, Teacher.

What are the importance of this landforms children? Landforms are important teacher because it serves
as our place to live.

These landforms also serve as tourist attraction of
our country.
Who among you here already visited one kind of
landforms we tackled? Me, Teacher. (depends on the pupils)

It also helps us to survive here on earth, without


landforms where do you think we live right now? Do
we have place to live if there’s no landforms?
No, Teacher.

Why?
We can’t build houses on water teacher, we can’t
survive without any landforms.

When the landforms destroyed, we will be affected


too right? Yes, Teacher.

So, we need to take a good care to our nature. How


can we take care the landforms on earth? Don’t throw garbage everywhere.

Segregate our waste properly.
What else? Don’t cut tress.

Instead, plant more tress and other plants.
