Lesson Plan For Practicum in Sukkur Revised
Lesson Plan For Practicum in Sukkur Revised
● Define “Displacement”
● Differentiate between “Distance” and “Displacement”
Required Material
In this activity, Teacher will greet students. He will ask questions regarding the previous
topic (Speed & Distance) to synchronize with the current topic. Teachers will ask the random
questions related to their real life to some students to trigger their attention towards topic.
Meanwhile he will repeat the mutually made rules.
In the introductory activity, teacher will write displacement on the board and will ask
orally about the general understanding about Displacement. At getting the responses from
students, teacher will ask the difference between “Distance and Displacement”.
Following the combined responses of students, Teacher will define displacement, he will
help student differentiating between both (Distance and Displacement) by drawing two dots and
teach the students through them along with various examples and demonstrations. Those
examples can include the physical movement or some past experiences of students. He will
teach them formula & derivation of Displacement same as he taught previously for speed,
distance, and velocity. He will also solve 2 numericals related to the topic for students
understanding. Speed and Velocity is already taught, though the displacement and distance is
remaining. These numericals are taken from book as well as designed by teacher.
Teacher will make 17 pairs and will provide them some worksheets for their detailed
practice and assessment of the topic. Attached (Appendix A. Meanwhile teacher will assess
students through regular check-ins for the assignment to be done effectively.
In this part, Students will be asked voluntarily to share what they learnt so far, Teacher
will further improve their responses and summarize the topic. He will review the whole teaching
and will encourage students to ask the questions related to topic. Keeping time in view, the
teacher will ask students to come up skimming the next topic (Acceleration).
