Assignment #7

The document provides instructions for an extra credit assignment due by noon on Tuesday. Students are to send their chapter 2 work to Ralph's email address. It also includes a question calculating the volume of sulfuric acid that weighs 100 grams, given its density of 1.84 g/ml. The answer shows the work, substituting the mass and density into the volume formula and determining the volume is approximately 54.35 ml.

Assignment #7 Extra Credit Chapter 2 due Tuesday Noon. Send to Ralph's e-mail.

Question:
The density of sulfuric acid is 1.84 g/ml. What volume of acids will weight 100.g?

Answer
Volume = Mass / Density
Given that the density of sulfuric acid is 1.84 g/ml and the mass is 100 g, I substituted the values
into the following formula:
Volume = 100 g / 1.84 g/ml
Volume ≈ 54.35 ml
Therefore, a mass of 100 g of sulfuric acid would have a volume of approximately 54.35 ml.
