RESOLUTION NO. 01 Series 2023


RESOLUTION FIXING THE DATE, TIME, PLACE OF ITS REGULAR MEETING
OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF BARANGAY KANGHALO, DUMANJUG,
CEBU

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 52, paragraph(a) of the Republic Act 7160 otherwise
known as the Local Government Code of 1991, states that “On the first day of the meeting
immediately following the election of its members, the Sangguniang shall, by resolution, fix the
day, time and place of its regular meeting”;

WHEREAS, it is essential to establish regular meetings for the Sangguniang Kabataan


(SK) in Barangay Kanghalo, Dumanjug, Cebu, to ensure effective governance and youth
participation in community affairs;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan during the inaugural meeting agreed


unanimously to hold its regular meeting every 2nd Sunday of the month and the succeeding year
thereafter at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the Barangay Hall Kanghalo, Dumanjug, Cebu;

WHEREAS, upon thorough deliberation of the Sangguniang Kabataan sees the importance to
fix the day, time, and place of its regular meeting.
NOW THEREFORE, ON MOTION OF HON. GREGO Z. LADA, DULY SECONDED “EN
MASSE”, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED TO FIX THE DATE, TIME, AND PLACE OF
ITS REGULAR MEETING OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF BARANGAY KANGHALO
DUMANJUG, CEBU.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this resolution be furnished to the Kanghalo Sangguniang
Barangay and the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) in the Municipality of Dumanjug.
