The surfboard is the most important piece of equipment that you'll need. Find out about the different board types.
Wetsuits
If you want to surf all year round and the water temperature is too cold for boardshorts, then you'll need a wetsuit.
Leashes
The surfboard leash is used to attach your board to your leg, ensuring that after falling off you don't have to go swimming back to the beach to retrieve your board.
Boardbags
Keep your board safe and ding-free while it's being stored or transported. There are three main types: a sock, a soft boardbag, and a hard case.
Surfboard Fins
Fins are attached to the bottom of the surfboard and help hold the board on the wave. There are two main types: removable and permanent glassed fins. We look at them in detail.
Boardshorts
If you are lucky enough to be surfing in warm water make sure you have your boardshorts at the ready. Forget the wetsuit, boardshorts are a pleasure to surf in. Available to buy for men and women and groms.
Surfboard Wax
Surfboard wax is used to create traction on the deck of the surfboard. Find out how to apply it to the board and also how to remove it. We even have an article on how to make your own!
Deck Grip / Traction
Deck grip is an alternative to applying surfboard wax. The grip has an adhesive back which is used to permanently attach it to the surfboard. These provide excellent traction.

i live in malaysia at east side of it. i like surfing sport and skateboard. but at my place dont have alot of good design shirt and equipment for that sport.
id reccomend mr. zogs to anyone who thinks not falling off is a good idea. trust me, ive been surfing since i was three, and my dad put it on for me
